This artwork features a ginger tabby cat resting with closed eyes, catching the warm light along a ledge.
The painting highlights the rim-lighting effect across the cat’s fur, ears, and whiskers. The backdrop is composed of a textured wash of green foliage and bright yellow flowers, providing a seasonal contrast to the warm orange tones of the subject. Cool purple-toned shadows anchor the lower section of the composition.
